Perfect Little Black [Party] Dress

Sponsored Post: While Dillard’s at Fayette Mall provided this dress, all opinions are my own.

It’s that time of year when party season is in full swing–weddings, bachelorette parties, graduations, and vacations.  One staple you need in your closet is the perfect party dress.  Now, while I’m a fan of all things bright + colorful, I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a LBD.  Black dresses add instant classiness to [most] outfits and are perfect for any occasion.  For dinner out in Vegas, I knew exactly what type of dress I want to wear.
I found this MICHAEL Michael Kors version in Dillard’s at Fayette Mall in Lexington. This dress is available in several colors, and for the black dress, you can choose between gold and silver studs. While I lean towards more gold these days, the silver studs really popped on this dress. The studs are really what caught my eye, as it seems they are everywhere this season. The material is super soft and comfortable to wear, but it’s thin and clingy so I recommend going up one size in it. It’s the type of dress that you could pair tons of different shoes and accessories with to nail a different look for each event.

And these shoes. . .they were not my first choice for footwear, but the pumps I was going to wear with the dress didn’t make it on the plane. These were black, with a slight lift, and comfortable, so I tossed them on.  Sometimes the show has to go on, even if you’ve forgotten something to complete the outfit.
If you’re from the Lexington area and need help picking out a dress for the summer, stop by Dillard’s at Fayette Mall and ask for Holly or Tracy!  These girls are wonderful and will help you pick out something stunning.
