Dark Floral Print Dress

Fall has arrived in Kentucky. I repeat–fall has arrived in Kentucky, y’all! I’ve so excited to finally break out the fall outfits.  One huge trend for fall is dark floral prints.  Dark floral prints are so moody and romantic.  They transition well, going from the office to date night and everything in-between.

Dress: Old Navy // Purse: Tory Burch Outlet (similar) // Flats: Target // Sunglasses: Target // Necklace: J. Crew Factory // Bracelet: Loren Hope via Rocksbox–get 1st month free with code BRIGHTONABUDGET // Watch: Kate Spade (similar)

This dark floral print dress is from Old Navy. I love the tiny print because it reminds me of dresses I wore as a child, which in turn remind me of watching Little House on the Prairie. I could totally imagine Laura wearing a dress made with this print:)  The cut is fun too–while it will work well for a variety of body types, it’s great for those of us with a small waist and big hips.

My watch and necklace pick up on the touches of turquoise in the print. The pops of color help break up the monotony of the rest of my outfit.  I’ve been carrying my new Tory Burch bag that I picked up at the outlet in Orlando since I came home.   And I slipped on my black flats that were a Target clearance find because they’re easy.

While I usually don’t wear hats, I received this one in my recent POPSUGAR Must Have Box.  I grabbed it as I was going out the door. It’s perfect for adding some flair to your fall outfits. Hats have been so popular the last two fall seasons, and the trend is still going strong.
