Today, we’re teaming together to showcase Fun Office Wear, featuring a touch of burgundy. Just because you work in an office does not mean that you have to dress boring. Burgundy is the color of the season, and Lee and I have paired touches of it with black and white outfits for the perfect pop of color. For my outfit, I chose my houndstooth dress that I scored at on sale from Bluetique Cheap Chic for just $5!!! I love houndstooth, so I doubled-up the pattern play with a longer peacoat my mom got me when I was still in undergrad.

My dress is sleeveless, so I just popped a long-sleeved tissue tee underneath and added some patterned tights to instantly transition it to fall. Oh, and my favorite boots from Target!

And my favorite part of the dress–this burgundy bow on the back! Which has been likened to a cape, but in case you didn’t get the memo, I can be Super Woman when necessary. Thus, totally appropriate:)
This necklace is very special to me. My Mamaw gave this necklace to me, so I always think of her when I wear it. And my earrings were $2.98 at Walmart. If you haven’t checked out Walmart’s updated jewelry section, you need to! The bag is a nylon Kate Spade outlet bag that I purchased off of Ebay when I was in law school. It’s a great size, and fits my laptop (a Macbook Air) in it.

Im not a bow fan but I LOVE the bow on this! And burgandy is also just one of those colours that I like to wear … besides black.
I can't believe your dress was only $15!! It is so pretty- and I love that bow. Both of you ladies look so pretty! You are so right about office wear being fun. I've gotten to where I prefer to dress in office attire (pencil skirts, feminine blouses, etc.) as opposed to jeans because that's what I'm most comfortable in. Have a great day!
