Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Review + Giveaway [100th Post!]

First of all, it’s my 100th Blog Post, so I thought we’d celebrate with a giveaway!  Be sure to enter at the end of the post!

My eyes are my favorite facial to play-up!  If I had to leave the house wearing only one product, it would probably be mascara.  My eye lashes are pretty long, but not thick, so I’m always looking for new solutions.
Enter Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes!  This stuff is AMAZING!  I kept seeing Younique all over Instagram and other social media, but I was dubious of the $29 price tag.  My friend, Charity,

started selling it, however, and she convinced me to take the plunge.  Why did I wait so long?!  This stuff really builds up your lashes!

My new favorite makeup bag–Sonia Kashuk Small Train Case in Wallpaper Print, $16.99 at Target.  I used the $3 coupon from my Target Beauty Bag to score it for $13.99!
The set comes in a nice case, and contains one tube of Transplanting Gel (which looks like regular mascara) and one tube of Natural Fibers (which looks fuzzy, like those drag-and-draw picture toys from when I was little).  The Nautral Fibers are taken from green tea.*
*As with any cosmetic items, please check the ingredients before use for any potential allergies you may have.

I found the process to be a little intimidating at first, but quickly got the hang of it!

BEFORE:

On the left, I have 1 coat of regular mascara.  On the right, I have no mascara.
AFTER:
I made some mid-makeup adjustments.  I added navy liner (perfect for fall!), and filled in my eyebrows with some eyeshadow since my eyebrow pencil ran out.
So how does it work?  You do one eye at a time.  Start with a coat of your favorite mascara on your top and bottom lashes.  Then, use one coat of the Transplanting Gel, followed by a coat of the False Fiber Lashes, and finish with another coat of the Transplanting Gel to seal the False Fiber Lashes. You can build coverage by repeating the steps over again (sans regular mascara step)–just don’t give your lashes time to dry in-between coats!  I like to run through the steps at least twice.
When I purchased my set, Charity was nice enough to send an extra set along for a giveaway here on the blog, which you can enter below!  If you can’t wait to enter, you can order here. During the month of November, if you spend $150, you get a Stiff Upper Lip–Lip Stain free.  Now, I’m not one to spend $150 on makeup, but you could always go in on an order together with some friends so that someone gets the free lip stain!

Have you tried Younique? If so, what did you think???

While Charity did provide the product for the giveaway, I purchased my product and all opinions are my own.

I almost joined Younique with a friend of mine who is a rep, but I just felt that it is hard enough blogging and keeping up with social media, that I didn't think I could keep up with that line too. You look fantastic. Rachel xo by the way- thanks for linking up to "Bloggers Who Have Inspired Me" the other day. I hope you are able to come back Tuesday and link up again.

Congrats on 100 posts! So exciting! I agree – mascara is a must have for me too. And under eye concealer, so I don't look like a dead person.
