First off, I hope that everyone had a great Father’s Day yesterday! We had an overall relaxing day at my house, and took Chauncey out to eat at one of our favorite Lexington restaurants, Joe B’s. Yesterday was also the 1st [official] Day of Summer and National Wear Your Lilly Day! Today Della from Della Devoted and I are showing off our See Ya Later shift dresses in celebration of NWYLD!
I honestly didn’t become a Lilly Pulitzer fan until last year after I started blogging and following other bloggers on Instagram. While the brand can be pricey, I love the patterns, colors, and overall cheerfulness of the brand. To make my purchases more affordable, I usually shop my local Clothes Mentor here in Lexington, which is where I scored my 1st Lilly item, a State of Mind skirt. I also shop Lilly’s After Party Sales. These are twice-yearly sales that occur in January and July of each year, but you have to be on the website at 8 a.m. because the good stuff sells out quickly. And finally, I search the #buymylilly hashtag on Instagram. It’s a great to find Lilly at reasonable prices (but not all prices will be reasonable, especially if they’re for a holy grail item).
The dress I’m wearing today, as well as the bracelet and the tote, are from the Lilly for Target line. I can’t believe I haven’t shot an outfit post with this shift dress yet! I was excited to shop L4T because everything was so affordable, but it turned out to be an eBay shark’s dream. Luckily, I was able to score most of the items I wanted. I only missed out in the My Fans shift dress (if anyone has one they’d like to get rid of in my size, let me know). My McKim sandals were a Christmas gift from my sweet hubby, and the Red Right Return sunglasses case was purchased off of @xxlillyworld on Instagram.
Sandals: Lilly Pulitzer (similar; similar but less expensive)
Tote: Lilly for Target (sold out; similar– BOGO 50% off)
Sunglasses: Target (BOGO 50% off)
Sunglasses case: Lilly Pulitzer (sold out; available on eBay)
Necklace: Purple Peridot (similar–only $2.95!!!)
Don’t forget to stop by Della Devoted to see how Della styled her See Ya Later shift!!! Did you wear Lilly for NWYLD???

Nice to meet you!
