Summer Wardrobe Splashes Under $20

Helllllooo, Summer!  A new season is upon us, and with each new season, I find myself craving some new accessories.  Accessories are usually the easiest way to stretch your wardrobe and make something old new again!  Here are some of my favorites for this season to add splashes of fun to your summer wardrobe, all for under $20!!!
Firework flipflops from Old Navy // Espadrilles from J. Crew**// Sunglasses from Target // Pineapple Scarf from Old Navy // Bow earrings from Kate Spade // Tassel earrings from Elisabeth Ashlie // Tassel necklace from Purple Peridot // Diamond print clutch from Target // Straw clutch from H&M (blue sold out online) // Flamingo tote from Payless
**These shoes were showing at $19.50 on the website when I did this post, but are now showing at $24.50. I usually see them for $19.50 or less, so I recommend just checking back in a few days and the price will probably drop again.

Clutches are such a chic update for any outfit, and are great to dress up a dressed-down look (come back to see tomorrow’s How I Style It post to see how I styled the blue clutch!). Either would fit the essentials and be great to toss down in this flamingo tote.  The tote is super cheap at Payless, but has a Kate Spade-ish feel to it with the flamingo motif.

Tassels are everywhere this season.  If you want to update any outfit, add a tassel to it. BOOM! Updated.  When I wear my tassel necklace, I like to pair my silver Kate Spade bow earrings with it.  They’re cute and simple, which allows my necklace to be the star of the show.  I found this pair of gold Kate Spade bows on final sale for only $19!  I highly recommend ordering these.  I wear mine all. the. time.  Oh, and while we’re on the tassel bandwagon, I’d totally layer the hot pink tassel necklace with the pineapple scarf–the colors would look so summery together, especially when paired with a basic white tee.

As for shoes, the two options above are too cute.  Does that fireworks pattern on those Old Navy flip flops remind anyone else of a certain Lilly pattern?! (I also love the shorts. They’re a great option to wear a pattern without truly wearing the pattern if you’re pattern-adverse.  And over the past year, slip-on espadrilles have become my favorite type of shoe.  The pair from J. Crew are even cuter in person, and an instant way to glam up a slouchy outfit.

Since it’s summer, we can’t forget the sunnies. This pair is oversized but in a classic shape. I’ve stepped outside my smaller wayfarer comfort zone this year, and love these because they’re basically just a larger version of my old favorites:)

Just a reminder, all of these finds are all $20 or [mostly] less!  Don’t forget to come back tomorrow morning to check out the latest installment of the How I Style It linkup.  We’re styling basic tees for #teedupstyle!
