This is the 1st part of a Wardrobe Re-Wear I’m doing. I usually combine the outfits into one post but I love both of these so much that I had to split it into two. Come back on Wednesday to see the other way I styled this tee!
While I’m a girl who can go all-out bright when it comes to outfits, I also love the simplicity of black + white together. It’s the most classic and timeless color combination of all time. Enter this striped boat-neck top from Target. I usually hate boatnecks, but this one has fabric sewn into the gap at the shoulders so your bra strap doesn’t show. Cute and functional? I’m in.
Skinny black pants are also elegant. I picked up this pair from the Maurices end-of-summer clearance sale that’s going on now for only $8.74! I love Maurices’ dress pants because they are well-made and wear well. These are relaxed in fit through the hip and thighs, which is a cut that I’ve grown to prefer.
To break up the color scheme, I tossed on a pink necklace and my matching Jessica Simpson heels that I got for a still from Dillard’s at Fayette Mall. Don’t you just love when pieces you’ve been eyeing go on major sale?! And please ignore that my two necklaces got tangled together. . . note to self to always check jewelry layering before shooting an outfit.haha
