Burgundy + Navy Florals for Fall

This post includes affiliate links.  Also, the Lucky Peanut Jewelry necklace was sent to me in exchange for a review.  As always, all opinions are my own, and if I don’t love a product or service, then they’re not being featured on here.

Chauncey, Kane, and I headed downtown for dinner last night.  We hit up one of our favorite Lexington restaurants, Joe B’s.  Now, Lex has a lot of new restaurants popping up, and we like those as well, but there’s just nothing like the yummy breadsticks with garlic butter dipping sauce that you can get there.  And you may recognize this outfit–I wore it for my birthday (does that make it my birthday suit?haha) but didn’t have time to photograph it that day.

I’m hardcore crushing on burgundy and navy shades for fall, so when I saw this pattern at Target I had to have it.  It’s perfect for fall, but will also work for the other seasons as well. They had it in a dress and a tank, but I really like it in this crepe top.  It’s lightweight and great for layering.  If you’re a fan of the Elsa top from Lilly Pulitzer, then I think you’ll like this.  It’s a fraction of the price (currently on clearance for $24.99!).  I will caution that the material is a little thicker and it doesn’t fit as loose as the same size would in Lilly.

Burgundy was also big last fall/winter.  These tuxedo flats are a holdover from them.  I snagged them for around $13 at the end of last winter.  My bag was picked up from the Michael Kors Outlet last fall. . .when I was there this weekend, they had a similar style but I didn’t like it as much.

For the tiny details, my earrings are new releases from Purple Peridot.  My dainty drusy necklace is from Lucky Peanut Jewelry (closeup here), and my longer necklace is from Kendra Scott.  I have worn both of these necklaces so much since I got them, and they’re both great for layering.

I love how casual this look is because of the jeans, but how it’s dressy enough for a casual day at the office or for a quick date night/birthday dinner:)  How are you incorporate navy, burgundy, and/or florals into your wardrobe this fall???
