Merry & Bright Christmas Outfit

We are officially 10 days away from Christmas!!!  Is anyone else in shock, or is it just me???  Since Christmas is coming up and holiday events are in full swing, I wanted to share another festive look for the season!
First, let’s talk about how gorgeous the setting is.  These photos were shot at Hillenmeyer Christmas Shop in Lexington. I have a full tour of our Hillenmeyer experience here.  The doors behind me totally look like they lead to Santa’s reindeer barn, right?
I had seen this “Merry & Bright” shirt from American Eagle at my local Marshall’s last month and really wanted it, because of course Bright on a Budget needs a Merry & Bright shirt (especially since it has sequins).  TJ Maxx in Lex didn’t have it either.  I was bummed, but then my Instagram friend Terri came through!!!  She found it at her local store and sent it my way:) It is perfect with a plaid shirt underneath, and I paired it with my tulle skirt I found on clearance at Maurices for $7.50 earlier this year. It is great because it only has a little bit of tulle, making it easy for everyday and office wear.
Also, it wouldn’t be a blog photo shoot without a weird, random hair flip. . .

Christmastime is a great time for some sparkly accessories (not that I don’t wear them all year long)! My necklace and bracelet are from Purple Peridot, one of my favorite places to get accessories from. They are currently having a 30% sale using code GIFT30, and their IG states that everything will be in plenty of time for Christmas.  Oh, and if you like accessories, you can totally get a FREE month of Rocksbox by using code BRIGHTONABUDGETXOXO! Rocksbox is a subscription service that you can join for $19 a month (can cancel at any time), and they send you 3 pieces of jewelry in each box.  You can send your box back at any time to get a new one, and if you want to keep a piece from your box, you get a pretty awesome discount!  They have TONS of Kendra Scott pieces that you can add to your wishlist. I believe today is the lat day to get a box in time to wear for Christmas.

To top my outfit off, I threw on my favorite flannel plaid bag and my glittery Kate Spade watch.
