Striped Tee and Red Pants for Spring

This post contains affiliate links.  The necklace in this post was a gift from Darling South, but all opinions are my own, as usual.
Umm, is anyone else ready for spring, or is it just me? No? I thought so!  I recently picked up some new clothes during Old Navy’s recent Super Cash promo, and I couldn’t wait to wear them.  Last Saturday was such a gorgeous day, so I shed the layers and brought the new clothes out to play.
Boyfriend tees are just as hot this season as they were last year.  What does that mean? A loose, oversized fit.  This black and white striped linen-blend tee from Old Navy is made oversized (I’m wearing a small and it’s still slightly big on me).  You can achieve this look with a regular tee by sizing up one or two sizes.  I just ordered a tee from Target, and got it in a large instead of my regular small or medium.
Bright pants are back again too, which I adore!!! These ankle pants are the Harper fit from Old Navy, and are perfect to wear to the office or just out and about.  They can be dressed up or dressed down, and pair great with the boyfriend tee.

My skinny Gorjana bracelet and Kendra Scott earrings are from Rocksbox.  These earrings are from the latest Kendra Scott collection and are in the color Amazonite–I highly recommend them if you have your eye on some new Kendra Scott.  Rocksbox has a lot of the newest Kendra Scott pieces in, which I was really pleased by.  If you want to try out Rocksbox, use code BRIGHTONABUDGETXOXO to get one month FREE.  You can read more about that here.

Can we talk about my shoes for a moment?  I scored them on clearance from Old Navy for just $1.97! And that’s before the Super Cash discount.  I really like the shape and python print.  They’ll probably be put up soon for the fall, but when you find a deal like that, you buy it! Buying off season is a great way to restock your wardrobe and save money.

I got a boxful of amazing items from Darling South before we left to go back to eastern Kentucky for the weekend.  It included this antler necklace made by Designs by Ali Rose especially for Darling South.  I really like the gold tone and dainty pearl combined with the strength of the antler–such a great necklace to instantly dress up your plain tees, like the one I’m wearing.

In case you’re wondering, coral is really big in cosmetics this season.  My lip shade is a bright coral red lipstick called “Flocking Fabulous” from MAC’s Flamingo Park collection.  My nail color is from the OPI Got Myself into a Jam-balaya from their New Orleans collection. I bought the 4 pack of New OPI Orleans minis from Ebay for super cheap!

What are you looking forward to wearing this spring???
