HOSTS
Be sure to check all of these girls out–you’ll love them!!!
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Do you know what that means?! Yes, you should be wearing green but it’s also the SECOND blogiversary of Bright on a Budget! And let’s not forget that it’s also the kickoff of the NCAA tourney–GO BIG BLUE!
Guys, I can’t believe Bright on a Budget has been around for TWO YEARS! That’s two years of sharing outfits, hopes, and dreams. . .two years of connecting with readers and other bloggers. . .and two years of having fun! I am so blessed. I’d like to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of you who stop by and read the blog, because it’s you that makes all of this possible! And as a special thank you, I’ve teamed up with some of my blogging buddies to give away two of my favorite things–a Kate Spade handbag and a Target giftcard. When I was considering what to wear for this post, I knew I had to incorporate some green for St. Patrick’s Day, but I also knew I wanted something BRIGHT, because, well, this is Bright on a Budget after all! So I pulled out this dress that I was saving, and I’ll be wearing it on Easter as well. I try so hard not to save outfits, because I’m a firm believer that you should wear something special every day, but this had been sitting in my closet too long.
Since the dress is so colorful, I was very mindful of what accessories I picked. I paired it with some simple but sparkly jewelry and a nude purse so as to complement instead of distract from the dress. I chose hot pink shoes to pull everything together and add a little extra color. While I think the heels were a little pricey for what they are made of, they’re also convenient because they have a low heel and come in a multitude of options.
The details on this dress are darling. I love the little side tides, the front piece, and the exposed zipper down the back. While this is originally a $198 dress, I scored it for $59 during the Lilly sale in January. I had thought about it for 2 days, and purchased it about 5 minutes before the sale ended from a store I found on Instagram.
I’m still loving my Rocksbox subscription! This necklace is one my favorite pieces that I have received.. If you love it too, use code BRIGHTONABUDGETXOXO to get your 1st month of Rocksbox free, and add it to your wishlist. You can read more about Rocksbox in my favorite post recap below.

I want to thank my Instagram husband, because he takes most of my pictures and gives me time to blog. I also want to thank Kane, who spends many nights cuddled up with his momma while she types out another post, and even lets her have the balloons first so she can shoot a post (ok, the 2nd part may have taken some persuading, but still. . .).
Here are some of my favorite posts from this past year:
