Wardrobe Re-Wear: Neon Flamingo Shorts

I think the evidenced has been firmly established that I love bold neon pieces, but just in case it hasn’t, let me submit another post into the record.

For me, summertime is all about bright colors. Neon pieces are especially eye-catching, and they work really well to color-block with neutrals.  I first styled these neon flamingo colored shorts last week, which you can see here. This time around, I paired them with a gorgeous black tank that I won as part of the giveaway from A Dip of Darling.

While I’ve been really digging sunglasses in fun shapes and colors here lately, I slipped on these classic black shades that I won in a giveaway from my eye doctor’s office week before last.  They keep my look more classy.  And the earrings and necklace from my latest Rocksbox provide the perfect splash of color to the top of my outfit.  They are both Kendra Scott pieces in Teal Magnesite. Finally, I tossed on my Purple Peridot bracelet stack and grabbed my black straw clutch from Vera Bradley.  Straw bags are really in this year–I also styled one here.

I kept the shoes simple with a pair of black sandals that are very affordable dupes for a designer brand.  This outfit would also look great with a pair of black wedges.
