All-American OOTD for the 4th of July

This post contains affiliate links.  The tee was provided to me by Kentucky Brewed Tees, but all opinions are my own (as always).

I love a good themed outfit, and the Fourth of July is one of the best holidays for one!  Red, white, and blue is just a striking color combo together, and it pairs really well together in outfits.  This Kentucky Brewed Tees shirt is the perfect patriotic wear for any Kentuckian to wear to celebrate the Fourth!

I picked up these distressed denim boyfriend shorts from Gap Factory on vacation. The shorts are a great length and very comfortable.  I go back and forth on whether I like darker denim or lighter denim, but I think that’s a seasonal debate. Lighter denim is my go-to in warmer months. The distressed detail on these shorts is really cute!

I went with red, white, and blue accessories, of course. The white pearl earrings were an anniversary gift frim Chauncey–my very first real pearls! The red necklace is actually part of a set I got from Walmart last year for $3, but I like 2 really cute similar options below. And I tossed on some blue bangles to complete the look.

And, yes, I’m wearing flip-flops! Since this outfit is perfect for the pool or an outdoor barbeque, I wanted comfortable shoes that I could slide on and off. The ones I’m wearing are Reefs, but I also love Roxy ones too. Both brands are super comfy.

Let’s talk about the setting of these pics for just a minute. These were taken outside of a 100+ year old cabin on Chauncey’s aunt’s property.  The cabin is actual the original homestead to the property!  How cool is that?  While our family has replaced the windows and does some minor updates, most everything else is still original.
DETAILS: Shirt c/o Kentucky Brewed Tees // Gap Factory shorts // Reef flip-flops via DSW // earrings (anniversary gift from Chauncey) // necklace from Walmart (similar only $3.19!, similar) // Pearl ring // Bangles c/o–blue stone; clear stone w/ Kentucky shape, blue Kentucky circle // Coach Outlet satchel (purchased in store)
This is one of my all-time favorite Kentucky Brewed Tees designs!  The best thing about KBT is that they use the tri-blend tees that are ultra-soft. They’re Chauncey’s favorite too (he loved the Dad tee I got him for Father’s Day!)

This outfit is the perfect Fourth of July outfit. What are your plans for the 4th?

Nice to meet you!
