I’ve shared a lot of summer trends on the blog lately, so I thought I’d round up six of my favorite trends I’ve shared lately that you should try this summer. You will also notice that I keep recycling clothes and accessories throughout these six posts to create new looks with the same pieces.
1. Straw Hat
Straw hats are everywhere! Not only are they cute, but they can disguise bad hair days too. Straw hats are perfect for date night, the beach, and the pool too! Check out this post here, where I share tips about how to style a straw hat.
2. Nude Wedges
If you buy just one new pair of shoes this summer, make sure they’re a pair of new wedges! They can be dressed up or dressed down, and the neutral color pairs well with everything in your closet. While some pairs I’ve seen are extremely pricey, this pair for Target is very affordable. Read this post here.
***BONUS TREND*** look for pieces with pompoms, such as this clutch, or tassels!
3. Off-the-Shoulder Top/Dress
The off-the-shoulder trend is probably the most prevalent trend of the summer. There are so many cute options out there! In this post, I put it together in a glam boho look.
4. Peplum Top
Peplum tops are here to stay this summer. That said, the peplum trend does come in different silhouettes, so look for one that flatters your body shape. If you don’t like the first one you try on, keep trying! It took me a while to find peplum tops I liked. Check out this look here.
5. Eyelet Lace
Eyelet lace is just so pretty and summery! This top is actually a tunic that can double as a swimsuit cover-up. I like to pair it with bright colors or pastels–really, just anything that makes the white pop. See the whole look here.
6. Neon Shorts
I just can’t get enough of these shorts. They’re a great statement piece that really makes your outfit pop. Plus, you can dress them up or dress them down, so you can get a lot of mileage out of them. The pair I’m wearing here are probably my favorite fit of shorts ever, and of course they’re cheap! Get all the details here.
All of these trends are fun and affordable. Which trends will you be rocking this summer?
