Bright Floral Skirt

This post contains affiliate links. The bangles and giveaway are c/o KCK Bangles, but all opinions are my own, as always.

I’ve had my eye on this skirt for months (seriously, since early spring) and I finally nabbed it on clearance at J. Crew Factory while I was on vacation.  It’s such a lovely print with the mix of yellow and mint.  The length is great for transitioning from the office to a night out, too!

I think there’s all sorts of ways to style this skirt, but I paired it with this summery yellow neon tee. While the tee isn’t a perfect match for the yellow in the skirt it pairs really well with the overall color scheme. Pairing a tee with a structured skirt is a great way to keep an outfit from being too fussy and to make it more versatile in where you can wear it too.
I kept the fun summery vibe by carrying my pom-pom clutch and throwing on some nude wedges.

My necklace and earrings are both Kendra Scott pieces from Rocksbox.  The earrings are abalone shell, which is a MAJOR jewelry crush for me right now, and the necklace is silver drusy.  I thought I was going to HATE the necklace when I saw I was getting it in my box, but I love it! The length is great, the gold hardware pairs great with the silver drusy, and it’s a dperfect statement piece when you don’t want something over-the-top. You can get your 1st month of Rocksbox FREE with code BRIGHTONABUDGETXOXO.

If you love this outfit, then you’re in luck! Both the skirt and the shirt are on clearance from J. Crew Factory! I always keep my eye on J. Crew Factory clearance because you can usually get some awesome deals when the clothes go an extra % off.

And I’ve saved the best for last–let’s talk about my beautiful bangles! These bangles are from KCK Bangles, a local company based out of Richmond, Kentucky. I’m wearing the shark teal magnesite, the multi-colored jazzy wire, and the clear.  The bangles are very well made, especially since they’re so affordable!  They are some of the cheapest bangles I’ve found, but they don’t look or feel cheap–such great quality! Katrina, the owner of KCK Bangles, is absolutely awesome, and she’s offering a giveaway for my readers!  Enter below for a chance to win this exact bangle stack!!!

If you’d like to go ahead and order some bangles, you can save 10% off of your order from KCK Bangles when you use code 10PERCENTOFF!

DON’T FORGET: I will also be hosting a styling class about How to Accessorize at Francesca’s Lexington Green location THIS Friday, July 15, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Stop by and shop with me! The location is 161 Lexington Green Circle, B18, Lexington, KY 40503. I suggest wearing either (1) a plain tee shirt to try on different items or (2) an outfit that you’ve had a hard time finding accessories for. Stay afterwards to grab a drink or a bite to eat at Lakeside Live while listening to live music.
