One of my favorite themed looks to put together is a nautical look. Nautical looks have several different elements. The color scheme is usually navy and white, with a pop of a bold red. Gold-tone accessories, like my bracelets and shoes, really polish off the look. Anchors, crabs, lobsters, starfish, etc. can be incorporated to really pull off a fun nautical style.
I love the crisp color scheme and how everything just pops. I let my navy and white shirt be the centerpiece and built my outfit around it. These white scallop shorts are just too cute and paired perfectly with the top. My necklace and earrings serve as my pop of red, and they really draw the eye up the outfit. I didn’t want to go overboard on the red, though, so I ditched my red flip flops for these cognac sandals. And of course I had to add my Lilly Pulitzer lobster clutch.
A perfect finish to your nautical look is a bold red lip. I’m wearing Covergirl Katy Kat Matte in Crimson Cat. It’s not a true matte, but a hybrid of sorts. Also, if you haven’t hopped on the white mani bandwagon, you totally should! It’s the top nail trend of the summer. Mine is the SNS dip.
Kane wanted a picture with his momma, and it was too cute not to share:)
