Hi, everyone, my name is Brittany!  I am from Nashville, and am the writer behind the blog, Lawyer Lookbook.  I am so excited and honored to guest post today on Bright on a Budget! A little about me: I am an attorney and have practiced law for nearly 3 years now, and was recently elected to serve as Town Court Clerk for my small town (right outside of Nashville), where I oversee the day-to-day operations in the Clerk’s Office for 3 different courts- general sessions criminal, traffic and juvenile traffic court.  Fall is my favorite season, and I am excited to share five trends to try this fall!

1. Chunky Sweater

A quality chunky sweater is a major fall must-have.  I love layering chunky sweaters over basic button-downs to create a sophisticated casual look that will keep me warm in the cooler temps.

2. Faux Fur Vest
Every gal needs a fabulous faux fur vest.  This faux fur vest is hands-down my favorite.  I love the cut and the length is perfect. I love wearing it in unexpected ways.  It looks so chic paired with jeans and a top, or, even over a skirt and top (see here).  The styling possibilities are endless!

4. Classic Stripes
Stripes look amazing year-round.  You can’t go wrong with a classic striped turtleneck to wear at the office with skirts, or, to pair with jeans for a more casual weekend vibe.

5. Faux Leather Pencil Skirt
This faux leather pencil skirt was quite possibly one of my favorite purchases last fall.  I love the faux leather material and the rich brown hue.  This skirt is gorgeous, and perfect for transitioning into cooler months.  I love wearing it with turtlenecks and booties, or, a button-down and stilettos.
