Casual Halloween Outfit + Linkup

Happy Halloween, witches!!! I love all of the “ber” holidays, and I really get into the holiday spirit. This goes back to my theory that fashion should be fun.  I like to don a festive outfit for the holidays, so I thought I’d share this casual Halloween outfit for those of you who don’t want to wear a costume today. If you do want to dress up, though, I have a super cute, super easy DIY Halloween costume here. And I’m guest co-hosting the Start the Week Stylish linkup, so be sure to check out everyone’s looks below!

Top: Loft (very similar for $17.99) // Leggings: Walmart (similar–$4) // Necklace: c/o Clutch Your Pearls // Bangles: c/o KCK Bangles // Flats: Target // Purse: Tory Burch Outlet (similar)  // Sunglasses: Target

These leggings are so fun!  While I love my LuLaRoe Halloween leggings, the ones I’m wearing here actually were $6 at Walmart. They were perfect for a day at the pumpkin patch and Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular.  I paired them with this peplum top from Loft.  It sold out fast, but I’ve linked a super similar top from Target that’s only $18.  I think that the classy top anchors this outfit, while the pattern mixing is on trend. Here, the pattern mixing works because it’s a simple pattern that picks up two colors from the leggings.
I kept my accessories simple.  I’ve gotten so much wear out of my Tory Burch Robinson tote and black Target flats (classic example of mixing high and low). My necklace is from Clutch Your Pearls and I wore it to Disney.  Even though my necklace is Halloween colors, you can actually design this necklace to match anything you need.  There are 3 colors of pearls, 3 colors of Mickey beads, and 16 colors of tassels to choose from! Or, you can get similar necklaces with either a pineapple of elephant instead of Mickey–how cool is that?!
I hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!!! We’re taking Ash Ketchum from Pokemon rick-or-treating tonight 🙂 These photos were take at Boyd’s Orchard in Versailles

Now for the linkup! Today I’m guest co-hosting the Start the Week Stylish Linkup with Michelle’s Pa(i)ge and Northwest Blonde.  The theme is black and orange. Be sured to checkout this week’s look through the linkup below!
