Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I’m already staring to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit! Today’s outfit is the perfect casual Valentine’s Day outfit that’s also super cozy.  It’s actually snowed on Valentine’s Day the past several years, so here’s an outfit to keep you warm.

Cardigan: Forever 21 // Plaid: Old Navy (almost identical) // Jeans: J. Crew Factory // Heels: DSW // Earrings + Necklace: Kendra Scott via Rocksbox–use code TIFBFF to get your 1st month FREE // Handbag: Target (designer version here–use code RMSALE50 to save 50% on sale prices) // Bracelet: KCK Bangles

Let me just say that it was FREEZING cold the day we shot these pics.  We were trying to hurry, so excuse the messy hair and half-popped collar.haha
For Valentine’s Day outfits, I like to incorporate either red or pink.  The basis for this outfit is my red buffalo plaid shirt and shoes.  These heels were on my Christmas list, and Santa Chauncey came through:) Since I was going for a more casual outfit, I decided to wear jeans.  If you need something a tad bit dressier, try some skinny black pants. To top it off, I added this long fuzzy cardigan that my mom got me.  It’s so soft and a dream to wear.
To mix things up, I threw on some teal magnesite jewelry.  You could just as easily pair pink or lavendar jewlery with this look. I like the handbag because it’s big enough to carry my date night essentials without being huge.
What are you planning to wear for Valentine’s Day?

Nice to meet you!
