Unexpected Color Mix for Transitioning to Spring

We got some more snow last night and I’m sooo excited!  Who else loves snow?! These pictures were shot on Saturday before the snow, and I wore this outfit to dinner at Malone’s afterwards. Even though it is still freezing cold, I’m starting to add pops of bright colors to my outfits to begin the transition towards spring.

Sweater: Target (same brand + under $25–similar, similar, similar) // Pants: Maurices (identical under $30 here or here) // Shoes: Express (different designsimilar, similar) // Necklace: c/o Purple Peridot–on sale for $24.99! // Purse: Rebecca Minkoff // Bracelet: Lauren Hope via Rocksbox–use code TIFBFF to get your 1st month FREE  // Watch: Kate Spade (all metal version ON SALE) Ring: Shop Wrenn in Rose Gold // Lipstick: Bite Beauty in ‘Whiskey’ c/o Influenster
Lip Pencil: Bite Beauty in ‘Rich Mahogany’ c/o Influenster

I recently grabbed this sweater while browsing the clearance racks at Target.  It was on sale for less than $9, so be sure to check in store to see if you can find it! I loved the color of it, which is called “fiery brown.” But the sweater is so winter!  I was trying to decide what to wear with it, when my eye landed on this beauty from Purple Peridot.  The turquoise is so unexpected when paired with the burnt shade, but it works well together!  This necklace actually comes in 3 colors and will work well to help transition your wardrobe to warmer weather. You can use code SPRING20 to save 20% off of your purchase of one too!
Also, this is my new favorite purse!  It’s small but mighty. In case you’re wondering on size, it does fit my iPhone 7+.  These shoes goes perfectly with it, and I love the message! I’m wishing now I would’ve also have bought these. And let’s talk about my lipstick for a moment. Chauncey said I looked like Wednesday Addams, but I’m loving it!  The color is ‘Whiskey’ (clearly not from Kentucky or they would’ve called it Bourbon). I’m also using this lip pencil to keep it in place. We’re going to be seeing dark lips throughout spring, so I recommend picking this up if you don’t already have something dark!
