Happy Valentine’s Day, lovelies!!! Chauncey and I went ahead and had our Valentine’s date on Saturday night. We’re actually going out on a family date tonight:) This is the outfit I wore out on Saturday. We had dinner and a movie, so I wanted to be cute but comfortable.

Confession: I’ve been on a midi skirt kick lately (did you see yesterday’s post with a completely different midi skirt look?). I love midi skirts because they are the perfect length! The one I’m wearing today is a LuLaRoe Lola Skirt from LuLaRoe Danielle Fowler. The LuLaRoe Lola Skirt has a thick black waistband that won’t roll or cut into your hips! It also helps to define your waist and has the perfect flair. It’s such a dreamy skirt!
To get this look, tuck in a sweater, and then tug it out just a bit to where it hides the waistband. You can also replicate this look with a tee when the weather warms up. The bold red and turquoise color combo really catches your eye and takes this outfit to the next level. I added my new Sugarfix tassel earrings in turquoise to match the skirt. Pair a fun pair of flats with it, like these I have on, and you’re ready to take your outfit for a spin.
