Each month, I team up with some of my blogging buddies byBMG, Della Devoted, and What Nicole Wore for the How I Style It series–we all take one style idea and each put together an outfit based on it. This month, the How I Style It girls have teamed up to show you some THROWBACK STYLE!

Top: Victoria Beckham for Target–clearance for $21 // Jeans: c/o Persnickety Jane–$24 // Tote: Tory Burch // Wedges: DSW–$60, comes in 3 colors // Necklace: Sugarfix for Target // Earrings: Sugarfix for Target // Sunnies: Quay Australia
I’m loving all of the 80s and 90s trends that are making a comeback! It’s so fun to take things from my childhood and work them in to my current style.
For today’s throwback style look, I’m rocking some new acid wash jeans from Persnickety Jane. I’ve really fallen in love with the reemergence of the acid wash trend. While I recently styled an updated take on acid wash jeans, this pair is a true throwback with a more original look. They’re also just $24. The material has some stretch to them. I never thought any of us would see the day that I wore acid wash jeans again, but here we are.haha .
I paired them with this adorable bee button-up top from the Victoria Beckham for Target collection. The top has a longer fit to it, and the sleeves are intended to drape over your hands. The bee pattern is so adorable because it’s a life-like bee print. If you’ve had your eye on anything from the collection, hop on over to the Target site because it’s all 30% off!
To complete the look, I added these $60 Steve Madden wedges from DSW. They’re a dupe of the $160 Marc Fischer wedge, which in turn is a dupe of the $600 Chloe wedge. I love the cognac color with my acid wash jeans, but you can also snag them in black and taupe. And this pom-pom necklace from Sugarfix at Target was the perfect way to top everything off. It’s only $12.99 and so on trend right now! It’s a great alternative to the more expensive Baublebar version.
What throwback trends have you been rocking?!

Such a cute look. The jeans bring back a lot of memories!
So cute! Wait…someone today just styled this same shirt…dang it, who was it. Love this look.
That necklace is so cute! Love this pair of acid wash jeans and the bee blouse
I’ve been looking for longer necklaces like that – thanks for the recommendation! (the link isn’t working right though, I think!) I love the bee shirt. That is so cute.
I have seriously contemplated buying some acid wash jeans. I was too young for them the first time around. All the older girls wore them but then when I was in high school they were no longer cool. Now I am loving them again!
What a lovely blouse! Livenoten!
Sorry…..love it!
Fabulous look! I thought that shirt was from The Loft as I had seen a similar one there. It is so cute. I bought the same shoes but in taupe! Love the pink bag with this outfit.
Love the jeans and the cute top!
