Is anyone else loving that denim skirts are having a moment again (okay, and sleeveless sweaters too)?! I’ve been a fan of denim skirts since my college days (circa 2005-2009) but the last time I rocked one was in law school. When I caught this one on clearance at Target, I had to snag it up! Speaking of Target, what’s your thoughts on the announcement that Target will be dropping the Merona and Mossimo brands? I’m sad, because I love both, but I’m also kind of excited to see what the future holds!

Denim Skirt + Sleeveless Sweater
While I think denim skirts are so fun when paired with tees, I’m loving the look of pairing them with a sweater. Here, I opted for this sleeveless sweater, which is a good option for summer. The pom-pom details add some “oomph” to the sweater. It’s versatile enough to wear to work, and comes in two colors.
If you haven’t added a pair of pom-pom earrings to your wardrobe yet, what are you waiting for?! This pair comes in three colors for just $12.99. Yes, they’re definitely a statement piece, and many people feel that they can’t wear something with pom poms, but try them anyways:)
Jack Rogers X Draper James
To emphasize the summery feel of this outfit, I added this gingham pair of Jack Rogers from the limited edition Jack Rogers x Draper James collection. It’s not often that I’ll pair this much for a pair of sandals that are this expensive to my closet, but I knew I’d regret not buying these. Gingham is such a timeless pattern. They also come in a seersucker option too. And this straw clutch from Amazon Fashion that’s under $30 is a must-have for summer.
So, what’s your thoughts on Target changing-up their clothing lines? I’m super interested to hear your responses!
