When life gives you a lemon print top, you wear it! Each month, I team up with some of my blogging buddies for the How I Style It series-we all take one style idea and each put together an outfit based on it. This month, the How I Style It crew has teamed up to show you how we’re styling novelty prints, like my lemon print top look! Check out Becky, Della, and Nicole’s looks for some more outfit inspiration!

Lemon Print Top
I’ve always lived by the mantra that fashion should be fun. And for me, fun fashion includes incorporating novelty prints. I especially like mixing novelty prints into dressier looks for work and going out. As soon as I saw this lemon print top, I knew it had to be mine! It has a novelty print, is one shoulder, and has ruffles–what more could a girl want?
I wanted to make sure the print popped, so I paired my top with some red pants for a primary color scheme! I added red statement earrings to tie everything together through color blocking. And I kept my shoes neutral because this outfit didn’t need anymore pizazz.haha
I wore this outfit out to a blogger night the Lex Blogger Fam had at West Main Crafting Co. last week. It was such a fun look for girls night! West Main was kind enough to send out a bunch of dishes for us to try. While West Main has some awesome fancy dishes, don’t worry if you’re a picky eater like me. West Main has the picky eaters covered too with some french fries on the menu:) I love pairing their fries with the old fashioned milkshake.
Be sure to check out the rest of the How I Style It crew to see how they’re styling their novelty prints!
