Casual look for fall (works for maternity!)

First of all, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone for the outpouring of well wishes yesterday! (If you missed yesterday’s post and have no idea what I’m talking about, you may want to hop over and read it before you go any further.) I’ve waited so long to share the news with you, which was hard! That’s also why I’ve not been as active on social media–when a night owl starts going to bed before 10 p.m., you know she’s exhausted!haha I’m hoping to ramp things back up now:)

Top: Old Navy–non-maternity // Jeans: Ingrid + Isabel via Target (non-maternity options here and here) // Slip-on sneakers: Target // Handbag: Louis Vuitton via Clothes Mentor // Necklace: Sugarfix (similar)  //  Earrings: Sugarfix // Watch: c/o Daniel Wellington–save 15% w/ promo code BRIGHTONABUDGET //  Link bracelet: J. Crew Factory c/o The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass // Cuff bracelet: J.Crew Factory

If I look happy in this pics, then it’s because I could finally shoot in a pair of pants that actually fit! I’ve been squeezing into non-maternity pants for the last 3 weeks of blog shoots I know some people try to stay in non-maternity pants as much as possible, but let’s be real– 1) belly bands are not super comfortable and 2) who on earth passes up stretchy pants that look like real pants?! The maternity jeans I’m wearing are from the new Isabel Maternity line by Ingrid + Isabel that’s replacing the Liz Lange maternity line at Target. They actually just have a stretch inset panel on each side, so they look like regular jeans.   The hem is also on-trend, being higher in front and lower in the back–dare I call them mullet jeans?!haha  I’ve linked two non-maternity options (here and here) that look identical above!

These days, I’m living in oversized tees.  For months now, even before I was pregnant, I always sized up 1-2 sizes in tees for that lived-in look. The boyfriend tees from Old Navy are my favorite!  They come in several colors and are on sale for $6.30 today!

Also, if you buy just one new pair of shoes this fall, make it these olive slip-on sneakers from Target! They’re just $24.99, and seriously go with everything! Olive is a great neutral for fall.  I’ve found myself sliding these on almost every day. And they’re lightweight. I threw on my blush seaglass necklace as well, because olive and blush may just be my favorite color combo for fall!

Finally, Chauncey HATES the half-tuck look, but I love it!  Are you team half-tuck or no-tuck???
