This may be one of the most basic statements I’ve ever made, but I’m so glad October is here!  October kicks off my favorite three months of the year–October, November, and December.  There’s so much goodness packed into those months, which included Halloween! So this month, the How I Style It crew is sharing our favorite Halloween outfits.  I’m sharing my outfit featuring my new LuLaRoe Halloween Leggings.  Check out Becky, Della, and Nicole’s looks for some more outfit inspiration!

Top: A Pea in the Pod (non-maternity option) // Leggings: LuLaRoe Tracy Vazquez Long Cardigan: Old Navy // Heels: Target // Candy corn tote: c/o Mud Pie Market–$10! // Earrings: Sugarfix via Target Necklace: c/o Kendra Scott at The Summit at Fritz Farm

CASUAL HALLOWEEN OUTFIT

When it comes to holidays, I’m all about dressing up!  Even if I’m not in costume for Halloween, I like to be festive. Here, I built this outfit around a pair of LuLaRoe Halloween leggings.  I added my favorite striped top for some pattern mixing (you can never go wrong with a black and white striped top for pattern mixing!). This top is actually a nursing top, but works well for maternity too.  The sides of it unzip from the top down, so I know I’ll be able to wear it after the baby comes as well.

LONG CARDIGAN

The long cardigan trend is back this year! The one I’m wearing is $30 from Old Navy and comes in four colors (I got mine on sale for $18).  I have a camel colored one from last year, and the only difference between the two is the side slit.

There was actually a similar cardigan on sale during the Nordstrom sale that I ordered. In comparing the two, the BP version is thicker and more textured without a side slit, but the green colors in each are almost identical. If you missed out on the BP version, I would snatch this one up while you can!

HALLOWEEN OUTFIT ACCESSORIES

Then, to pick up on the orange pumpkins in the leggings, I added my coral magnesite in gunmetal Kendra Scott Rayne necklace. This combo isn’t available as a ready-to-order option on their website, but you can actually build it as part of their online Color Bar.

I also just got in this candy corn tote.  I’ll be carrying it this month, and it will be great for taking Kane trick-or-treating.  All that extra candy has to be carried somehow!

LULAROE HALLOWEEN LEGGINGS

I snagged my LuLaRoe Halloween leggings from my friend Tracy–how cute are the trick-or-treating cats?! She still has some Halloween leggings up in her shop, but I don’t expect them to last for long.
