5 Makeup Staples I Buy Again and Again

Five makeup products I continually repurchase under $25

To say I try a lot of makeup is an understatement.  I’ve always been a huge makeup lover– between my own purchases, PR gifts, and sample boxes, I’ve had the opportunity to try many brands and products.  Today I’m sharing five makeup staples I buy again and again. These are my tried and true go-to products that I keep repurchasing and always keep in my makeup bag.

1. L’Oreal Infalliable foundation (currently BOGO 50% off)

This is my all-time favorite foundation.  At $13 or less, you cannot beat the quality, especially at that price.  Honestly, I love this foundation.  It goes toe-to-toe (and even beats) some of the $40+ foundations I have tried!  I love the Pro Glow version for the colder months and the Pro Matte version for the warmer months. There’s even a full-coverage version that’s excellent if you need that level of coverage. The product is buildable and lasts all day.

2. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye

I never used to wear undereye concealer, and I have no idea why.  Honestly, though, it’s probably for the same reason I used to not do my eyebrows–because I didn’t know I needed it until I incorporated it into my routine.  This products lasts FOREVER.  You just use a dab of it each time, and a little goes a long way.  This concealer covers dark circles and any eyeshadow fallout.  I love how fresh my whole look is when I use it.  If you want to give it a try first before committing, there’s a travel-sized version.

3. IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara

I always gets lots of compliments on my eyelashes, and part of that is because of this mascara! I’ve always had long lashes, and I use R+F Lash Boost, but this is the product I use to get all of my volume.  This mascara makes your lashes look so dramatic!

4. Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner

I absolute hate when my eyeliner wears off before the end of the day or smudges. I also don’t like when my black eyeliner looks gray or dull once applied. With this eyeliner, I don’t have to worry about those issues!  The felt tip is such a great applicator for doing a cat eye, and once I put it on, it stays all day, just like the name.

5. NYX lipstick

This lipstick is amazing, and at $6 a pop, you can afford a bunch of different colors! My current go-to is this lipstick in the shade Duchess.  The NYX matte lipsticks have some staying power, and I don’t have to worry about the color rubbing off as soon as I put it on. Plus, the NYX lines always have on-trend colors. All-around win!

Have you tried any of these products? Which are your favorites?

I really like the L’Oreal foundation! Although I always use the pro matte and haven’t tried the pro glow yet. I might have to try that one next time! And the it cosmetics mascara is great! I got one in my Ipsy bag a while back and really like it. I have too many other samples to use up first but that is one I would actually purchase!
