High Five for Friday 11.03.17: Trick-or-Treat + Baby Doctor

TGIF!!! Della at Della Devoted, Katie at Cup of Tea, Becky from BYBMG, and myself want to welcome you to the High Five for Friday link-up and the weekend. We made it! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights from the past week each Friday.

Here’s this week’s highlights:

1. Friday night, I dropped Kane off with one of his babysitter’s and headed to a Halloween party at Chauncey’s office.  Chauncey’s office feels like a big family for me, as he’s worked there forever (since I was in law school), and we’ve all traveled a lot together. I loved getting to hang out with our friends.

2. We carved a pumpkin on Monday night.  Kane had a stencil from his Danny and the Dinosaur Halloween book, so it had the dinosaur on it.  Kane was soooo grossed out by the pumpkin guts and wouldn’t touch them, but he did touch a seed.

3. Tuesday was a BIG day for us.  We kicked off Halloween with a baby doctor appointment and an ultrasound!  The baby weighed 12 oz., and we even got a little 4d peek:) Everything looked great, which is always a relief (besides the scale.hahahahaha).

4.. Trick-or-treat was Tuesday night. Y’all, we had a time before and after, but trick-or-treat was so fun! We met up with our friends, their daughter, and their friends.  Kane dressed up as Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. The kids had a great time running from house to house getting candy. So, beforehand–I locked the keys in the house to Chauncey’s car.  My car keys with a house key on them were locked in Chauncey’s car.  Chauncey was at work without any keys or car because I had dropped him off.  It was a MESS!lol Luckily Pop-a-Lock made it out in 30 minutes and we got on our way to trick-or-treating. But then, on the way home, we were rear-ended–it was very minor and no one was hurt. Needless to say, I was ready for bed at the end of the night!

5. After Tuesday night, I DESERVED some me time, right? And my birthday is tomorrow, so I felt the need to treat myself. I headed out to the nail salon for an SNS mani + deluxe pedi. It was amazing and just what I needed to R-E-L-A-X!

Now, fingers crossed that these iPhone Xs get delivered today!  And be sure to follow along on Instagram next week–there’s an adventure coming up. . .
