Long Chenille Cardigan + Sequin Loafer Flats

Y’all, you’re looking at what will be one of my go-to looks for this winter.  First, this long chenille cardigan is the perfect outfit topper for blustery winter days.  This is a piece that I will grab time-and-time again, whether I’m heading out to dinner or cozying up in pajamas at the house.  Chenille is such a soft material.  I also shared this maroon chenille cardigan a few weeks back/  If you don’t have a chenille piece in your life, then you need one!

And how fabulous are these sequin loafer flats?! I picked them up while I was shopping on King Street in Charleston. When I saw them in store, I told Chauncey I had to have them (no exaggeration).  They are eye-catching but comfortable to wear.  They also come in black, but blush has become one of my favorite neutrals here lately.

Lex Spread Love #lexbloggerfam Fundraiser for the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center in Lexington, KY

This holiday season, I’ve teamed up with my local #lexbloggerfam (the local Lexington, KY blogger community) to give back. When you purchase a Lex Spread Love tee for $20, 20% off all proceeds go to the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center here in Lexington, Kentucky. You can pre-order the tees through November 27, 2017.

The donated proceeds from the t-shirts will help fund critical programs through the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, such as their 24-hour crisis hotline, comprehensive clinical services, legal and medical advocacy, and community outreach and engagement.

Furthermore, to quantify the donations: $25 raised provides one hour of therapy for sexual violence victims, $50 raised provides a legal advocate for one hour, $75 raised provides one violence prevention education workshop, and $100 raised covers 8 hours of volunteer training.
