I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Which means it’s time to figure out what to wear for Thanksgiving dinner. Thankfully, I’m wearing maternity this year, so I have the stretchy pants on tap for Turkey day! Here’s a cute Thanksgiving dinner outfit that you will wear again and again.
Blazer–$35 // Ruffled sleeve sweater–on sale for $20 // Maternity jeans (non-maternity option–-$10) // Earrings–$14 // OTK boots
I wore this outfit on our night out while on our babymoon trip to Asheville, NC (we spent 3 nights in Charleston and 1 night in Asheville). The temps had already dropped in Asheville, so warm layers were called for.
As soon as I saw this navy blazer with gold dots, I knew I had to have it! I mean, gold foil dots?! Of course it was coming home with me. The material is different than your typical blazer–it’s very soft and warm, but still lightweight. You can add it to any casual outfit to elevate your look.
I layered it over this $20 ruffled sweater. It’s non-maternity, so I sized up to an XL. Ruffles are the detail to have on tops right now. This sweater is so pretty because not only are the sleeves ruffled, but so is the neckline. The sleeves look adorable when popped out of the blazer. Caution–you will need to wear a cami underneath due to the stitching. Also, because of the statement ruffle neckline, I opted to forgo a necklace and just add statement earrings. If you’ve had your eye on these $42 Baublebar mini piñata rose gold and white earrings, then I suggest grabbing the $14 dupes I’m wearing. They’re perfect for the holiday season.
Can we talk about my jeans for a moment? I have worn this pair of dark wash maternity jeans (full panel) in every blog post this week–check out the other two here and here. They literally go with everything and are so comfortable.
Finally, finish your Thanksgiving dinner look off with a pair of OTK boots. This pair is under $50.
