Casual Holiday Party Outfit

This J. Crew Factory plaid flannel is a great top for a casual holiday party! If the pattern looks familiar to you, don’t be surprised–it’s a slightly different color way of the iconic J. Crew Rock Salt Plaid pattern. I was able to snag the Rock Salt Plaid when it hit the factory store several years ago, but I knew it wouldn’t fit this year. Sadly, this pattern is sold out, but J. Crew Factory has some other really cute plaids.  If you’re heading to a dressier holiday party, swap out the jeans for a black tulle skirt.

These maternity jeans are a must-have. I promised myself after my last pregnancy that the second time around, I would invest in at least one good pair of maternity jeans.  Well, y’all, these Article of Society maternity jeans are them. To make my casual outfit holiday party ready, I added some red beaded tassel earrings, a crystal necklace, and sequin loafers. Adding bling to a casual outfit can really change the entire look. My earrings are actually part of a giftset that comes with an identical pair of black earrings, and they are BOGO 50% off this week. My sequin loafers are on sale for under $40 (what are you waiting for?! Go buy them!). And this velvet crossbody/shoulder bag is a great accessory.
