High Five for Friday 12.22.17: Christmas Celebrations + Nesting

TGIF!!! Della at Della Devoted, Katie at Cup of Tea, Becky from BYBMG, and myself want to welcome you to the High Five for Friday link-up and the weekend. We made it! High Five for Friday is where we come together to share five highlights from the past week each Friday.

High Five for Friday Link-up

This week’s highlights:

1. Chauncey was gone on a business trip last week, and didn’t get home until 3 am on Saturday morning. Friday night was Parents Night Out ya daycare, though, and since he wasn’t here, I took advantage of it myself. I came home and got 90% of my gift wrapping finished. I felt like superwoman when I went to pick Kane up.haha

2. On Saturday, I went to pick out new glasses for a collaboration I’m doing with J. Galt Eyewear here in town. I love working with them because my eye doctor is awesome and they have a really cool mission. Chauncey and Kane came with me, and Kane had lots of fun picking out glasses for me to try on. Afterwards, we grabbed lunch at a new place downtown—Alexander Bulliet. It was yummy! Saturday night, I heading to a Christmas party with some of my #LexBloggerFam. It’s always fun getting together with them!

4. Nesting has set I hardcore! I organized for 6 hours after work one night this week (again, feeling like Superwoman). It feels so nice to see things coming together. Chauncey put together both the dresser and cube storage I picked up at IKEA, which make BIG differences in the rooms they’re in. I’ve already filled them up.

5. Last night was busy but fun. We went out for a Christmas dinner with friends at Cheddar’s. Then Kane and I dropped Chauncey off at home for his gaming night before we heading out to do a drive-thru nativity scene. Afterwards, we ran errands, including a trip to Target. Y’all, I’m down to picking up one more Christmas gift this evening and I’m officially done Christmas shopping!
