Santa at Lexington Green

Christmas is such a sentimental time of year.  I love all of the traditions that come along with the holiday season (see my post about how to easily create holiday traditions here). One tradition that we’ve had since Kane’s very first Christmas is taking him to visit Santa at Lexington Green.

SANTA EXPERIENCE AT LEXINGTON GREEN–LEXINGTON, KY

Kane was happy to see Santa again, and he had a ton of fun taking these pictures! With Santa at Lexington Green, you can either book an appointment online for no extra cost to guarantee a time or just show up. While we usually book an appointment, we just showed up this time and still got right in.

Santa was great–he was patient and took his time with Kane. Kane really enjoyed talking with Santa and doing the reindeer antlers.  And Santa liked Kane’s sign.  Kane wrote his name on his sign by himself. I filled out the rest of it, and cracked up when Kane listed “taking pictures” as a way he’d been nice.haha

I really like Santa at Lexington Green because you can take pictures on your phone (we also did a video!), but there’s also a professional photographer there to snap the moment.  They offer photo prints and even Christmas cards with your child’s picture with Santa.

Side note: you will see this festive dinosaur sweater in all of Kane’s Christmas pics. He loves it and insists on wearing it.:)

ADVICE FOR SANTA PICTURES

After 5 years of Santa pictures, my advice to anyone taking their child to see Santa is just to embrace the experience.  We’ve had everything from a smiling Kane to a screaming Kane, to Kane holding up his fist to Santa.  You can see some of our past experiences here.

Do you take your child to see Santa? If so, how did your visit go?

Nice to meet you!
