Vest Dressed for the Holidays

Since we’re in the home stretch for Christmas, I’m wearing all the plaid, red, and green.  I wore this outfit on Saturday for a late lunch, some shopping, and a Christmas party with some of my #LexBloggerFam.

I knew I wanted to wear a red sweater under my Christmasy plaid vest to pull out the red in it.  I added a green plaid top underneath as it was slightly chilly outside. While the two plaids definitely don’t match, they do compliment each other.  If you want to pull off a double plaid look, make sure to match one color between the two while choosing one smaller plaid and one larger plaid.

I’m always looking for ways to incorporate fun and whimsical pieces into my look.  My favorite accessories this holiday season have been these earrings and this nutcracker clutch. My Tory Burch Minnie flats perfectly match my earrings.  They are an investment piece, but they’re also probably the most comfortable flats I own and I wear them a ton.
