What to Wear to a Baby Shower

I had a hard time picking out an outfit for my baby shower in Lexington. I felt like Goldlilocks, because nothing was just right.haha  Then I saw this beautiful floral print maternity maxi dress from PinkBlush Maternity, and it just felt right!

Dress: c/o PinkBlush Maternity // Shoes: Target // Earrings: c/o Sugarfix at Target // Necklaces: Kendra Scott and Kate Spade

This maternity maxi dress is SOOOO comfortable. SERIOUSLY COMFORTABLE.  When deciding what to wear for your baby shower, comfort is key as you’ll be moving around a lot. This material is soft and stretchy. I also wasn’t constantly pulling and tugging at it.

Another thing to take into consideration when deciding what to wear to your baby shower is how will it look in pictures? The pattern on this dress is so pretty, but it’s not crazy busy.  The white background really allows the bright colors to pop, but nothing is overwhelming.

Since you’ll be up and down a lot, I suggest wearing flats or low heels as opposed to high heels. I wanted to mix and mingle with my guests, and I didn’t want to topple over in front of them. I also kept my jewelry relatively simple.

At the end of the day, go for something that makes you feel pretty and comfortable!!!
