Every year, ever since I was a little girl, I look forward to picking out an Easter dress. I love Easter! Not only is it an important religious holiday to me, but I love that it heralds rebirth and new life with the arrival of spring.
When it comes to Easter dresses, I also look for pastels or bright spring colors. I adore this blush sheath dress. The ruffles at the top aren’t true sleeves, but still cover my upper arms as Easter tends to be a little chilly. The fabric is a slightly heavier knit that hangs well (when the wind isn’t blowing it back and forth.haha). At under $50, it’s a great Easter dress option! It will work well beyond Easter too–think spring and summer events and weddings. I even wore this to Karoline’ newborn photo shoot a couple of weeks ago with Sweet Bloom Photography.
To accessorize your Easter dress, mix in other similar colors, depending on whether you chose pastels or brights. Here, I added lilac earrings and light blue sandals. Straw bags are trending again for this spring and summer. The one I’m carrying it is a great neutral that goes with EVERYTHING. You’ll see it again on the blog later this week.
