Yesterday was an absolutely GORGEOUS day in the Bluegrass! It was sunny and 75. We spent part of the afternoon outside, and Karoline loved the breeze on her face. Somehow, though, there’s up to 8″ of snow in the forecast for this weekend. Welcome to Kentucky, folks.haha

Please excuse my hair in these photos. It was SO windy when we shot this outfit. You should see some of the outtakes. . .or not.haha Gingham is coming in hot for spring and summer, and I’m not mad about it. This casual gingham dress is perfect for an afternoon out running errands or a picnic lunch. The linen-blend material is very breathable. I grabbed a medium in it, but definitely could’ve sized down to a small. It only shows available on the PinKBlush website as a maternity dress, as it’s sold out under the regular women size listing, but I’ve found their maternity and women’s items to be interchangeable for the most part.
I contemplated wearing heels with this, but at the end of the day, my blush espadrille sneakers won out. Pairing sneakers with dresses seems to be the latest thing. You could also try a pair of Keds.
Have you hopped on the gingham train this spring?
