Ruffle Hem Asymmetrical Mini Skirt

Happy Friday Eve, y’all! Today Karoline is 8 weeks old–if you missed her official introduction and newborn pictures on the blog yesterday, you can see all of that here. I am still getting used to be able to wear non-maternity pants and skirts. It feels so strange not to have that stretchy waistband. One trend I’m loving and can wear now is ruffle hem skirts.

This ruffle hem asymmetrical mini skirt is one of the top skirt trends right now. I love the material and the white color for spring. The best news is that it’s on sale today for $14! I found that this skirt fits small, so size up at least one size if you order.

To keep that fresh white look going, I paired my skirt with this dalmatian print top that’s under $20. Dalmatian print is an awesome neutral pattern and a fun way to mix things up–I already have another outfit in mind for it that I can’t wait to wear. An easy way to add dalmatian print to your outfit is to substitute it for your leopard print pieces. Now, I’m not saying to not wear leopard print this spring, just that dalmatian print is a nice way to mix things up!

Of course, I had to mix in some bright colors.  Bright colors always work well with an otherwise all black and white look. My bracelet stack and earrings have been on repeat!

Overall, this is such a cute date night look for spring.  You could also wear it for a girls night out.  If you want to wear this look to the office, though, I switched out the skirt for some white pants.
