Mother’s Day Gifts with Kendra Scott

It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day is this Sunday! Since we have been on vacation, Chauncey was a little last minute picking out my Mother’s Day gift. No worries though–he and Kane swung by the Kendra Scott store (my fav!) at the Summit here in Lexington this morning to pick something out something special for me.  So Chauncey is taking over the blog to discuss what they picked out. Kane and I wanted to do something special for Mother’s Day this year. In particular, I wanted to let Kane pick something out himself. It’s something we’ve done together before, and he really has fun picking something out for his mom. We chose to go to Kendra Scott given Tiffany’s propensity for their jewelry.

Kane really enjoyed looking at the various designs and plethora of colors. He was able to nail down gifts “mom will love”. He remembered the abalone shell earrings we picked her out for her birthday, and wanted to get the matching necklace [Gold Inez Necklace in Abalone Shell]. He also decided on some “Christmas earrings” in red, his favorite color [Grey Gold Drop Earrings in Red Mother of Pearl].

Kane was even able to make a little card for Tiffany to go with her gifts as they were being giftwrapped. When we got out to the car, Kane was so pleased with the “great gifts” he found for his mom! I like going to Kendra Scott because I know that we’re sure to get a gift she’ll love.
