Life Lately: Karoline at 16 Weeks + High Five for Friday Linkup

I can’t believe Karoline is 16 weeks old as of yesterday. Babies really don’t keep, that’s for sure. She’s finishing her third week of daycare, trying to cut her two bottom teeth, and becoming more mobile by the day. I want to savor every moment. Yesterday was National Wear Your Lilly Day, so we popped this on for a quick pic before daycare.

When I was pregnant with her, I took weekly bump photos that I never shared, even on my personal social media. I’m planning on sharing them in an upcoming blog post, though, so last night I went through my phone and sorted all of the “bump” pics. I’m so thankful for both of my pregnancies, but it’s bittersweet when it’s your last. I truly loved being pregnant.

I’m feeling much better after having the stomach bug. Chauncey ended up getting it too. Anyways, it completely derailed my blog schedule this week. My Willow Pump review will now be up next week. I’m learning that sometimes you really do need to take time to slow down when you’re sick and it’s OK to take an unscheduled break.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! We’re taking Kane to see the new Jurassic World movie. Is anyone else going?

Karoline is just too cute. You are so right, babies don’t keep and I loved being pregnant too. I totally get how you feel. I grieved every milestone with our second knowing we’d never experience that again. Love the scalloped shorts. I love all things scallops…except realy scallops. LOL They’re just ok. HA! Happy weekend!
