Wardrobe Re-Wear: Blue + White Button-Front Midi Skirt

Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope that everyone’s week is off to a great start. I first worethis midi skirt on vacation in Charleston for a casual look, so I thought it’d be fun to remix it for a more dressed-up look.

Whenever I purchase clothes, I always want to have at least two ways to wear them. This button-front midi skirt is great to dress up or dress down. While I’ve paired it with a silky cami, you could definitely pair it with a button-up or a top with sleeves to make it more office appropriate.

I thought these earrings from Sugarfix added a fun pop of color. I’ve been wearing blue and teal together a lot here lately. Then again, I’ve been on a teal kick this summer.

And did you notice my necklace? It’s from Plunder Designs and is a photo of my grandparents when they were teenagers. It’s always been one of my favorite photos of them. You may not know it, but my mamaw passed away right before I got pregnant with Kane. I love being able to wear this updated take on a traditional locket with her and my papaw’s picture though. This is a medium gold atlas necklace, and you personalize it with a photo for under $30! They even have a larger version on a long chain–I have that one too with a picture of Kane and Karoline in the hospital when she was born.
