Casual Sunday Best

Good news: I’m leaving for The Blog Societies Conference in Atlanta tomorrow. Bad news: I haven’t started packing yet.  Is anyone surprised? [crickets] No? I didn’t think so.

I wore this outfit out to dinner on Sunday evening. It’s casual but still a put-together look. We ate out on the patio at Mod Pizza, and it was a perfect end to the weekend.

How gorgeous are these orange girlfriend chinos from Loft?! I’m all about adding colored pants to my wardrobe, and I didn’t have any in this color. You can wear them to work, and they’re only $20! My tank is from Express, and it’s one of those pieces that you NEED in your closet. You can dress it up or down. You could totally swap the tank for a white button-up to make this outfit more work-appropriate.

Since my pants are loud, I kept my shoes neutral and added in some Kendra Scott jewelry for a little fun. And my straw bag is still going strong, even this late in the summer!

Now, blogging is all about learning experiences. I’m constantly trying to improve my photography and photo editing skills.  Well, you live and learn–don’t shoot an orange outfit in front of anything with orange undertones, like this brick house. It totally skews the lighting/color when editing.
