Don’t get me wrong–I LOVE fall colors. But this blog isn’t called Bright on a Budget for nothing. . .I love wearing pretty, bright colors all year long. It can sometimes be difficult, however, to find brightly colored pieces that truly work for the colder months. As soon as I say this long pastel color-block cardigan, I knew I had to have it!
Cardigan: Amazon Fashion // Lace cami: BP // Sandals: c/o Bearpaw–save 20% w/ code BPAMBTF // Satchel: Tory Burch // Short Necklace: Kendra Scott // Long necklace: c/o Sugarfix
Multiple brands and boutiques have some version of this color-blocked pastel scheme, from high end to low end. I saw this cardigan first on a boutique website for around $50, but then ran across it on Amazon for $32! One-click success story right here.haha
This pastel cardigan goes perfectly over a white and black color scheme. Don’t be afraid, however, to layer it over top other pastels. I have a pair of lavender jeans that this will look great with. Or you can opt to pair it with shorts like I did. Popping a long cardigan on over shorts is a cute way to transition your summer outfits to fall, especially as the evenings start to cool off.
If you look closely, you’ll see that I even paired black and brown together for this outfit. These Bearpaw Noelle sandals are awesome for fall transition, and they’re under $30 when you use code BPAMBTF.
I’m curious–how to you feel about pastels and other brights for fall? Does it mess with your pumpkin spice vibe or not?
Love the colour blocking on this! Super cute transition piece.
Thanks, and I think so too!
I love colorful items too, this is so pretty!
Thank you! It will be a great piece for the colder months!
SLAY ????
Aww thanks, Jess!
