Yes, I’m Wearing FLARED Jeans

One of the 2019 trends for jeans is FLARED JEANS. Flared jeans have been on the rise for the past couple of years, but for the most part, I have ignored them. Let’s be honest–you’ll have to pry my skinny jeans out of my cold, dead hands. But it’s fun to switch things up every once in awhile, so here we are. Me, in flared jeans, with another adorable Valentine’s Day look for you.

ruffle top (similar, similar, similar) // flared jeans (similar, similar) // flats // heart earrings // heart scallop crossbody // initial necklace

I created this outfit from a top and jeans I already had hanging in my closet, but I’ve linked similar pieces above. The movement of this top is gorgeous, and the red color really pops against my dark wash jeans.

It pains me just a little bit that flared jeans are coming back, but at the same time, I actually liked wearing these out for dinner this weekend. You want to make sure your flared jeans don’t bunch at the bottom. If they’re too long for you, be sure to wear heels.  It messes up otherwise clean lines.

When I wear flared jeans, I don’t like wearing boots or tennis shoes. I prefer to wear something that shows a little bit of my foot, like flats or heels. The holographic flats I’m wearing here were on clearance for $2.97 at my local Old Navy store! Old Navy is having an additional 25% off clearance online today, so be sure to check it out.

And I’m rocking the same jewelry and purse from yesterday’s post! They’re both awesome Valentine’s Day accessories and you can grab both for under $50!
