I don’t care that it’s still February. I’m ready for all things spring, including spring fashion. I’ve already broken out the self tanner.haha But it can still be cold in Kentucky, so what’s a girl to do when she wants to wear her pretty spring dress? Easy–the trick to wearing your spring dresses NOW is to add a denim jacket.

This daisy dress for spring fits beautifully. The waist cinches in at the back, and it just has such a pretty fit that will work for a variety of body types. I took a size medium in it, so it’s true to size. I also really like the length and the flirty hemline. I couldn’t wait to wear it, but Kentucky is in the middle of a cold spell. No big deal–I popped on my jean jacket and some boots.

Jean jackets (or denim jackets or whatever you choose to call them) take me straight back to the 90s, and I’m here for it. I had put off getting one because I’ve not been able to find a Goldilocks one–one that fits just right–until I got this one in a PR box from Bearpaw. I love the faux furry detail on this one. And while it’s not available for purchase, I did find two very similar ones I think you’ll love.

And for spring, it’s okay to keep wearing tall boots, but switch into a camel/tan color. Tall black boots are so harsh with the pretty colors of spring. They also scream WINTER.

Finally, I have to tell you about this Gigi New York Clutch. Y’all, my mom got this for me for Christmas. We found it at Saks Off Fifth for $13.98! That’s around a 90% discount. I was so excited, as Gigi New York pieces are so beautiful and well-made.

So tell me–do you have a jean jacket?

Nice to meet you!
