Love is in the air, and Chickfila has their heart-shaped biscuits out. . .it’s officially Valentine’s Day week! Don’t mind me, I’ll be wearing festive outfits all week:) One of the easiest ways to dress up for Valentine’s Day is to color-block red and pink together.

Most everyone already has red and pink pieces in their closet. You may remember this skirt from my Galentine’s Day outfit inspiration, and this sweater from our Christmas photos. The colors don’t have to be exactly the same shades as I have on. You could also pair a darker red and baby pink, or even multiple shades of pink with red accessories.
I typically wear over-sized tops, but for this look, a fitted sweater works better. Tucking the sweater into the pleated skirt looks so chic and put-together. If you don’t have red or pink shoes to finish off your color-blocking, opt for nude shoes instead.
And of course, I’m wearing my heart-shaped earrings and heart print bag, because I believe in getting my money’s worth out of festive accessories. FYI, this week, Target has a deal going on where you when you spend $40 on select clothes, shoes, and accessories, you save $10!
So, did anyone celebrate Valentine’s Day this past weekend, or are y’all celebrating this week? I think Chauncey and I are going to go out tonight since my parents will be in town, and then take the kids out on Valentine’s Day:)
And if you’re still looking for Valentine’s Day gifts (his, hers, and kids), check out my Valentine’s Day gift guide for under $40! A lot of the selections are much cheaper, though!
