Lilly Pulitzer Dress for Spring + the Perfect Neutral Accessories

For the past year, I wasn’t able to wear dresses as much as I would like, as I was nursing Karoline and many dresses aren’t nursing friendly. Now that Karoline is a year old, I’m typically only nursing in the morning and at night. This makes it easier to wear shift dresses, like this beautiful Lilly Pulitzer Alden Dress in Pawsitive Cattitude that is perfect for spring, especially with Easter coming up.

A sheath dress is such a classic silhouette, and I love that this Lilly Pulitzer Alden dress has the added ruffle-sleeve detail. The bright pink pattern just pops, which is exactly what I want for spring. This is the sweetest little dress, and would work for Easter, brunch, or a garden party.

Many times, when I wear Lilly for the spring, I pair it with neutral accessories. Here, I’m wearing white and beige wedges and carrying a light beige straw bag. Matching shoes and bag immediately make you look more pulled together. And neutral bags and shoe are a breath of fresh air after the black boots and bags of winter. Plus, having a neutral bag and wedges you can grab as your going out the door will make rushing out the door easy.

I topped the look with my new gold necklace from Sugarfix. It gives the neckline some added detail and is bold, but the gold tone pulls it into place.
