Charleston Chic–What to Wear Siteseeing

Good morning from the BEACH! This week is spring break, so we popped down to Folly Beach + Charleston for a quick 4-day trip. We booked on Friday, left at 4 am on Saturday morning, and will be traveling home later today.  One of my favorite parts of Charleston is along the Battery, so today I’m brining you a little Charleston chic outfit for site-seeing that’s inspired by Rainbow Row.

If you go to Charleston, the Battery is a must-see for site-seeing! The street is lined with beautiful OLD homes in Easter egg colors, and Rainbow Row continues the look right around the corner. When I think of Charleston, I think of beautiful shades mixed together against bright whites, and that’s what this outfit encompasses.

Don’t be afraid to mix colors in your outfits. My chartreuse light-weight sweater pops against the muted teal of my jeans, but it also looks great with cobalt blue and pink. I also sneaked in some light blue with my earring.

I’m continuing my love affair with a neutral bag and shoes. They just look so great with a colorfully outfit! My espadrilles are old, but I linked the updated version from this year that are mules.

And my last picture shows my lash extensions from Savvy Salon & Spa in Lexington, KY. I love how full they look! Jamie did an excellent job. For more info about my experience with lash extensions, check out this post and this post.

Overall, this look embodies Charleston chic, but is also comfortable enough to wander around town and see the sites. If you’re looking for things to do while in Charleston, SC, check out this post here.
