Earlier this week, I brought you a bold + super trendy Kentucky Derby look. Switching gears, today I’m sharing a classic Kentucky Derby look with a trendy twist. This look is so darling and is sure to be a hit.

WHAT TO WEAR TO THE KENTUCKY DERBY: Lace Sheath Dress
Lace dresses are everywhere right now. . . e v e r y w h e r e. This light blue lace sheath dress from Ralph Lauren stands out because of its fun statement sleeves. The dress is very feminine and classy, with a TTS fit. The hemline sports beautiful detail, but more importantly, it hits at just the right spot, even for us tall girls.
WHAT TO WEAR TO THE KENTUCKY DERBY: All-White Accessories
I went with all white shoes and accessories for a very feminine look. I wanted fresh, bright white to pop against the blue. There’s also some white in the bow on the fascinator, which pulls everything together without overwhelming any part of the outfit.
WHAT TO WEAR TO THE KENTUCKY DERBY: Fruit Fascinator with Lemons
I know this Kentucky Derby fascinator is funky, but it looks so good with this look! It’s a fashion risk that pays off. The bow has a navy stripe (not black), so it pairs well with the dress. This lemon fascinator will set you apart from all the floral and feather hats at the Derby.
When picking out shoes, make sure you get a comfortable pair because you will be walking a lot! These white faux snake heels have great padding and don’t crowd my feet. They fit TTS. The faux snake print leather makes a subtle statement on its own, too.
This entire Kentucky Derby look, from head-to-toe, is from Macy’s. Macy’s makes it easy to Derby shop, as they are a one-stop-shop for dress, hats, shoes, and accessories. Their Kentucky Derby hat selection is based on mostly solid colors in a variety of styles, which makes it easy to find one that works for your outfit.
Which Kentucky Derby Outfit has been your favorite so far? I have one more coming next week, and it’s very different from the two I’ve shown so far.
