Thank you to Katie Noel and Bak 4 More Salon for gifting my hair services. All opinions are my own, as always.
For the past couple of months, I’ve been working to get to a new hair color. Last night, I went in for my third hair color appointment with Katie Noel at Bak 4 More Salon. Because of the color of my hair and the previous color I had done, it has taken several appointments for me to get my hair to the color I wanted without damaging my hair. It’s worth it, though, because now I have a beautiful ashy brown balayage that I love!
You can see the results from my first couple of appointments here. Katie and I had been chatting back and forth about what my goal color was, and she definitely as able to knock it out of the park! It helped that I sent her pics of what I was going for. FYI, you can DM Katie on IG with any cut or color questions, or to schedule a consultation for yourself.
This time, we decided to bring the brown base shade further down, as I wanted the blonde pieces to start lower down. I also wanted the blonde to be more blonde but ashy. First, she lightened my blonde balayage. Then she rinsed that out and did a treatment. After that, she did both my brown color and the violet toner for the blonde at the same time. We were both super pleased with how it turned out!
Also, Katie is now certified in Hotheads hair extensions, and I’m considered getting some extensions in the near future! It’s so cool seeing everything she can do.
If you’re in Lexington, KY and looking for a new hair stylist that’s excellent with color, I highly recommend Katie Noel at Bak 4 More Salon! She’s a Redken certified colorist and great at what she does. If it’s your first time at Bak 4 More, you can mention my name/blog and you’ll get $20 off your first appointment!
